As a photographer my photos achieve a natural inward beauty, interest and energy. I achieve this through getting to know my subjects even if briefly, making them feel relaxed and comfortable. I believe the inner spirit should prevail in a portrait, along with beautiful lighting and composition. I enjoy all types of people and my headshots are reflective of that. My clientele is wide and varied and includes doing Authors' book covers (Recently having photographed comic legend Pat Cooper's book cover for his autobiography "How Dare You Say How Dare Me!"), magazine editorials, and personal publicity portraits for many top editors, executives and publishers. I have received photographic assignments from Hearst Publications, Hachette Fillapacchi, The Baryshnikov Dance Foundation, Gruner and Yahr, top law firms and major corporations such as Daimler-Chrysler, Accenture, ADT and American Express Publishing, as well as the leading international skin care company Weleda.

I also have a large following in the world of Classical Music. I have photographed CD covers, Media kits and Publicity photos for many recording artists including the Metropolitan Opera Harpist Mariko Anraku, Contemporary Ensemble Eighth Blackbird, The Harlem Quartet, Flutist Tara O'Connor, Pianists Grace Nikae and Mia Chung. Recently, I photographed the new Grammy-nominated Imani Winds CD for Koch International Classics. Other musicians include country western singer Orville Davis and rap singer Redman.
